Senior iOS Developer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior iOS Developer to work collaboratively with the team and help deliver leading-edge mobile applications. This role will involve designing, implementing and maintaining products along with keeping up-to-date with latest technology trends and advances. We are looking for someone who can proactively contribute to improvements and processes and demonstrate willingness to learn and enhance existing skillsets. This role is a permanent position for Appscore with the opportunity to work with some of the largest enterprises in Australia, who we partner with.


To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience developing quality, mobile applications with experience in Swift and Objective C. We are looking for someone with a strong iOS background but also experience in other programming languages. Someone with the ability to advise on the best technical solutions within a complex environment, will be highly regarded for this role.

Technical requirements

  • 5+ years of iOS development experience.
  • Professional experience with Swift and Objective C, must have built apps in both.
  • Experience in building UIs in various techniques, i.e. Xibs, Storyboards and programmatically.
  • Experience in using and setting up of CI/CD environments, including Fastlane usage
  • Experience working with the various web technology layers, i.e. API layer, business logic and database
  • Experience working with scripting languages, e.g. Ruby, Javascript.
  • Strong experience in testing requirements and processes, ability to know what to prioritise for testing
  • Interact with and gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and deliver what was promised
  • Understanding other teams’ technologies and limitations, ability to define a solution that takes these into consideration
  • Ability to interact with the various technical teams (e.g. API team) to produce the different parts of the solution
  • Agile experience in squads, tribes and chapters
